Temper temp. for a spring?

I'm making my first lockback folder. What temperature do I need to temper the spring for for best results? Thanks guys. Dave

what steel are you working with? i think around 40-50 hrc is a good hardness to aim for, atleast for linerlocks/framelocks, im not really sure about lockbacks

Hello. Thanks for the info. I should have said that I'm making the blade, lockbar, and spring all out of D2. Hope that helps for giving me a temp. Thanks. Dave
