Temper Temp for O1 Axe?

I'm about to HT an axe that's intended for processing game - it shouldn't contact anything particularly hard, but you know how that goes... It's O1, hollow ground; what would you folks recommend for temper temp? I usually leave the knives pretty hard but I'm having some second thoughts about that for this one. I don't have any way to test relative hardness so will have to rely on temperature to gauge it.

Dave, on my 01 hatchets I edge quench and temper at 510F.

They seem to hold a good edge and I haven't broken one yet.
