Temperance - Who has them?

I've been checking up with many internet dealers and so far, no one has them in stock at the present moment. Does anyone know who has the leaf blade in stock? Thanks.
 
now sure bout the internet but my LKS has one in stock now. it's the upswept blade and man is it COOOOOL I love the design but it's not something I would probably carry with me all the time
 
Emailed you about someone who has ONE in stock. These blades are well worth the hunt. If I run across anymore I'll send you the info. Good luck in the search!

Thanks for the tips guys. Still, noone seems to have theleaf blade version in stock. Still looking...:confused:
 
In another thread, http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=184758 , I asked about the leaf point Temperance, and nobody has answered me, but I also commented that it was my understanding that they had not been released to the stores as yet, only the Spyderco Collectors' Club. That was what the only one that I saw advertized on the web had to say about it, and it had been sold for $200.00 immediately. Well, the ad had been pulled, at any rate.
 
That's basically the problem Hugh. Since there are two variations of the Lil' Temperance, the Collectors Club members are only required to buy one, while the other is an optional variant.

In this case, the Leaf blade was the one they were required to buy, so the first 200 were automatically spoken for -- and they are only making ~75 of each live blade style per month, so that is nearly all of the first 3 months production just for the Collectors Club. Not all Collectors opted to take up their option on the Trailing point variant, so a few have trickled into dealers.

I do think that all of the Collectors should be served by now, so it shouldn't be too much longer before more Leaf blades hit the open market, though there will never be a great deal.
