Tempering solutions

Is there another way to temple the knives beside using a toaster oven? in my country the electricity is extremely expensive, so 4 hours of a resistance oven will consume , so maybe one of you fine gentlemen have a solution, that is effective as the toaster oven, in advance thank you very much and have a safe quarantine with your family's.

I don't know if a pizza eatery would let you place your blade in their oven for a temper cycle? Are you trying to make it harder or tougher? DM
 
If you have access to Co2, a cryogenic quench before a temper cycle would help more. Good luck, DM
