After designing and machining a couple of the Templar shield/cross carbon fiber pocket clips... I needed a good set of simple scales to go with the clip. I didn't want the scales to shine more than the clip so I toned it back to a simpler inlaid product.

I'll be machining the scales in the next few days and will post photos of the result...

Boomer52. I saw your scales on flicker with the skull inlaw all over the scale in black. Would it be possible to do this for a yojimbo2 and if so how much?

I know I machined one set of inlaid PUNISHER scales for a Yojimbo 2... but was disappointed with the outcome. The profile shape with the extremely narrow heel cuts off a great deal of the tooth detail diminishing the iconic look.

Also... due to the deep reverse side overtravel pocket needed for the compression lock the scales need to be thicker to accommodate the inlay. It changes the ergonomics and the customer that ordered them didn't like that when he got his knife back in hand.

Due to that experience I do not machine Punisher inlaid scales for the Yojimbo 2.

Negative. The skull carvings require full scale thickness... so none of the knives with liners would work... especially the compression lock models like the Yojimbo 2 and PM 2 with that deep reverse pocket for the lock overtravel.

I don't work with wood... sorry.

Maybe try G10it Custom Made Scales...

How much for the clip and the Templar scale for the cqc 7
Although with my subscription level I can promote work product... all commerce must take place in the EXCHANGE. The manufacture's Forum is not the place to discuss pricing.
