template sander for kmg?

i have a small wheel attachent for a kmg grinder and want to make it a template sander by adding a 3rd bearing between the vulcanised rubber and the side wall. any suggestions on how to do this or any other ideas to make this happen?

this would revolutionize my operation quite a bit!

Are you talking about having the bearing ride along the steel of the knife while the belt shapes the handle?

pretty much yes!

i also offer my folders with more than one scale so id like to be able to make them faster.

You might be better off using a router with a table and a laminate trim bit.

Just get the scales close with the bandsaw, then go to the router. No adjusting the grinder either.

If you have an old router laying around, it's worth a try.

well i thinking more for titanium and steel. and i dont like the idea of getting my hands in close to a router. ill keep thinking.
