I like that. Stained up nice and finished would make a good looking "dress" neck knife.

Willis has truly blossomed with his knife and sheath making.

Making leather sheaths with wooden inserts has become the norm on the workbench.

Hey B, show'em the mora plastic with leather jacket.......

You can grab by the tip and shake it up and down very hard and it won't fall out.It is made of basswood and was just meant to keep the edge covered until I make a sheath for it.edited to show the mora Moose wants.I found some real thin suede leather at the craft shop I bought the basswood at and covered the plastic sheath that came with the mora and cut most of the hanger and sewed a leathet belt loop on.I took a pic but taking forever for email to go to photobucket I'll put it in when it goes thru

Very cool! How'd you do it exactly? You carved two identical pieces and then glued them together?

Great job.

:) I have been playing with the idea of wood liner for a BK2. I love the sheaths you did for the Mora's they look great.
