Temporary forum Shutdown

This was posted here in Bladeforums by a moderator, Bronco, on another subforum. I thought you might like some advance warning since we don't have a resident moderator of our own here.

FYI, we'll be experiencing a hopefully brief Bladeforums shutdown at some point in the next couple of days. The site's moving to a new server. Between backups, transfer, testing, DNS propagation, etc., we could be down anywhere from a day to possibly 3 or 4 depending on how thing's play out. See ya on the other side.

I would link the quote but only paid members can visit that particular forum. And the rest of the thread was silliness anyway.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled program...

This is the latest from Spark. Evidently the previous shutdown was for backup and maintenance prior to switching.

Server is being switched in the next 24 hours. We'll see what happens then.

We will be down for several hours tonight while we move the data over to the new server and come up and running again.

Forums will be closed for new posting somewhere after 7pm this evening, and will reopen in the next 24 hours
