And still no love for the Resilience? What's goin' on??? ;)

But seriously, where is this knife being manufactured? Could the facility not also economically make a Resilience in S35VN, at least in theory? I am sure it would sell like crazy. A lot of guys have been quietly waiting for something like that to drop, I think.

Clearly, you’ve not watched enough What On Earth. ;)

That I don't get your reference proves it. ;)

I am a big fan of blue knives. They always sell fast, at least initially.
I'm silently waiting for a blue, S35v Resilience. I'm always up for a 4" value knife from Spyderco.
I am presently, impatiently waiting for the Tenacious to become widely available!!

This is just a guess, but I think if the Tenacious S35v sells well, it will happen. Persistence too, why not?

YES!!! I think that Tenacious is the best selling model of Spyderco budget line and for that reason it is the first model to get an upgraded blade steel. Hopefully other models will follow this pattern, maybe in a form of a dealer exclusive, just to try the market, and later based on the demand, as a full production model. I would love to see Spyderco Astute with S35VN or CTS-XHP and different color G10 scales!!!

You're supposed to be plugging the Resilience! ;)

Personal record for percentage of posts in a thread with winkys ;)

I think we would see a lightweight Persistence first. I really doubt there's enough demand to justify the cost for creating a mold for a lightweight Resilience. Or are you thinking it could be made with g10? In that case I guess it's possible.

I was thinking all three with the upgraded steel only first, lightweights to follow if, as you said, there is enough demand.

I'm going to put my 8Cr13MoV Resilitary regrind into the lightweight handle, and I will make new scales for the S35VN blade, and probably regrind it as well, though to what shape, I am not yet sure. Maybe a wharncliffe. Not sure what the scales will be yet either. Maybe Micarta. I think OD or natural would be nice, but it depends on what I'll have in stock when it comes in.
