Tenacious or Persistence?

As my second spyderco, I want to get either the blue g-10 persistence or the all black tenacious. My h1 dragonfly is already a satin color, so that's why I'm leaning toward the badass and more concealable tenacious. Any advice?

Since you leaning toward the Tenacious, that might be the one you should get. The Tenacious also seems to be about the "right" size for most folks - neither to big nor to small. But really there is not a bunch of difference. The Tenacious just fills the hand a little better.

I found this for you:

Thanks for the video. I like how he mentioned that the tenacious can be used for a tactical use, aside from the persistence with a bit of a smaller blade.

I am currently EDCing the tenacious. I also have a Resilience, but for me its a bit too big for EDC. I love both knives though. Very smooth, very sharp just good solid knives.

If you get one, be careful not to be too strenuous on the lock with whatever you're doing with it, since the Tenacious line has a really weak lock, confirmed in both Vinull's testing and my own.

I'll still use mine occasionally around the house, but I don't carry it anymore, and I don't use it for anything I don't think a slipjoint could handle.

I really wish Spyderco would just improve the liner lock on these, or use a different lock.

Tenacious is one sweet well built knife, but the steel is too soft for my taste, having to touch it up all the time
