I just bought one and I will have to say it has become my favorite spyderco. It just seems about perfect to me. Boy, did I like the price of the knife to. I am thinking about getting another just for a spare. I was wondering if you guys think this knife will hold up and last for a EDC? I take it easy on my folders and if I need more I use a fix blade. Is the steel in these knives any good? I read it compares to AUS-8. I really like AUS-8 steel. It is easy to sharpened and holds a edge long enough for me.
 
Congrat for your purchase. Tenacious was my first spyderco to and i love it. A few weeks later I bought a endura ffg VG10, its smaller but sizewise its better for me. The steal is amazing and for now it's my EDC. Your right with a spyderco, you get a lot of knife for your money.

it will hold up. the steel is sorta soft but it takes a hell of an edge and will hold it for most daily task just hit it on the strop at night
 
They sure are great for the money. I have two. One satin finish with black handle and one all black, both plain edge.
