Tenacious revamp

I got a Tenacious in a trade a few weeks ago and someone had acid washed the blade. It looked like he also tried to etch the logo back into it. I pulled it apart today and redid the acid wash, figured out a way to keep the logo and stonewashed it. This is my second one I've done and I'm pretty dang proud of it.

You can see where he tried to etch right above the Spyderco sticker.

It seems like it'll be a durable finish but only time will tell. I'll let you know.

looks awesome man! i just got my blue tenacious this week. i love it even tho i know it's far from a top of the line blade. yours looks really badass now i must say

It's definitely not a high end knife but it's the one that got me hooked on Spyderco. I'm glad you like it, hopefully some guys on Facebook will want theirs done.

Thanks for the comments guys. I want to try different steels. So far I've used 8cr13 and Kershaws sandvic steels. I've had Great results with both.

Thank you sir. I started to do this to a black Tenacious but i figured people would like the blue better. Guess I was right. I'm glad you like it. My next one will be a Blue Sage 3, it should be here this week and I'll have pics up next week sometime. Thanks for all the positive comments guys!

Sweetness! That looks great on a tenacious!
I love 8cr13 to be honest. It takes an awesome edge and holds it just great as an edc blade. Oh and not to mention it only takes 5 minutes to strop it back to a screaming edge. Though my tenacious hasn't seen any use. I bought it with my Paramilitary 2 thinking I'd use both and switch them out...wrong!

8CR13 is a good steel for EDC. I'm doing another Blue Tenacious as we speak because that one sold over the weekend. I love doing this kinda thing and it looks like y'all kinda like it too. Thanks!

Got it today and it's great!! I really like this model and the acid and stonewash treatment really set it off.

Thanks again.
