Tenacious washers?!?

I don't suppose anyone knows which side of the blade the two different sized washers belong on? When I removed the blade, they fell off before I noticed there was different sizes. I think it does actually matter, otherwise they would be of uniform size. Even if you don't know for sure, I'd love to hear some reasoned guesses. Thanks for your help.

At a guess, skinnier one goes on the lock side, since the lock/detent will exert a torque on the blade (and, possibly, the wider one would get in the way of the lock itself.)

Better solution, however, is to ask on the Spyderco Form here on BladeForums... the residents there are almost sure to know, let alone the Spydie employees who regularly help out.

Like Lucky Bob said the smaller diameter one USUALLY goes on the lock side as it would be in the way of the locking device.

Thirded. 99% of the time they use as large as feasible on the straight side and a smaller washer on the lock side.
