That's funny because after the swedge comment I thought it looked like maybe he rounded the spine, not flatten it. I guess we will have to wait and see what he says.

I removed all the metal above the tape on the blade in the top pic. Thanks Josh for the positive comment.

The chinese line of spydies always. Looked too chubby too me. I decided to slim it down. When I get a chance, ill take a pic outdoors where the lighting is better.

Did you post your project in the gallery on the spyderco forums? It was a thread there that gave me the push I needed to go for it.


And yes, it took a long time to take off that much metal with the sharpmaker stones. Thanks for posting your pic also. Looks damn good!
