Went to the great state of Tennessee to a really big cutlery place ;) and pulled the trigger on a 16 and 17. I see now what everyone was talking about, they feel great and its alot of knife for not alot of weight. I also like having Mr. Beckers signature on them. Picked up a Remora as well. The collection grows!

SMKW's ~~ you picked up some nice knives there and you are lucky you did not go broke there as every time I go there just to look I come back home with just some change making noise in my pocket.!*
You did good as those knives will serve you well.***

Congrats! The tweeners are great knives. It's funny, after having the BK9, 7, 5, and 2, you think they are small. Then I have the BK16 out around camp and someone comes by and says, "whoa, that's a big knife". Huh...I guess it is.

Its always hard for me to re-adjust to what non knife people consider "big" to me the tweeners are just wee lil things but to somebody who only sees a knife over 2 inches in their kitchen I guess its borderline Rambo :D

Nice purchases, I'm assuming the tweener's are getting safe queened?

Still thinking about that, part of me says yes because of them being first run with Mr. Beckers sig and buy another set to play with, part of me says use these ones gently, havent decided yet.

ya, they are a big difference from the 9 and 2, think thats why they seemed to be so lightweight.
