Awesome combo, cut up my glock and my atlantic salt. I love the way this gun carries and shots, and the point on the atlantic makes it a lot more useful for my purposes.

Yup, g26 mag. I appendix carry with a kydex trigger guard cover I made and it is invisible compared to the full length 17

Nice Atlantic salt; the tip mod is wicked. Everyone should own at least one fully serrated spydie like that:

modded (evil) mariner:

I love that mariner its one of the best looking knives ive ever seen, thats what inspired my tip mod. I wish the atlantic had a plain portion near the tip. They should produce that blade in H1 with g10 scales. I would buy at least two.

H1 & G10 handles would be awesome.

I'm looking at getting more of the rescue spydies (sheepsfoot) as well as knives from other manufacturers just to mod like the mariner. Waterstoneblades on the forums here did the mod job on this knife.

The little bit of plain portion ear the tip makes the wharncliff mods a lot nicer than the Atlantic where the xl serrations go all the way

Ah, but you could always grind it down a bit and flatten it out into a plain edge... ;):D

The rescue is one I'd REALLY like to mod if I can find a nice user for a fair price just for the reason you mentioned above; that plain edge portion near the tip.

Or, get some cheapies to mod; the Byrd series! I gifted a meadowlark 2 to my dad; he enjoys it quite a bit and lockup on it was crazy solid, no movement at all even under hard cuts.

Yeah that longer Byrd looks like the perfect candidate for the mod. I think I'm gonna have to pick one up.
