please excuse the lack of caps, it is broketed. spoilers ahead.

was on imdb checking out the terminator tv show forum, and it was mentioned that a t1000 was featured in the season premiere. i watched a few episodes, it didn't have enough action imho. the season finale was a copout, i thought, because you didn't see the terminator taking out all the leo etc. granted, it is tv, it was around 8pm or 9pm. still, they could have done better.

so, did anyone see the episode? i heard the t1000 was a urinal? is it worth watching?

I missed it on TV but I saw it online yesterday from the network's website. I liked it a lot. I like the show a lot.

Yes, she is played by Shirley Manson of the Band Garbage.

She is "Catherine Weaver" a T-1000.

And yes, she morphed into a urinal in one scene to eavesdrop on some guys.

I actually like the show, and what they have done with the storyline. The series pic's up a few years after T2:Judgement Day, but in the first season Sarah and 16 year old John Conner are moved through time from 1999 to 2008 by Cameron a female terminator protecting them, played perfectly by Summer Glau of Firefly fame.

As a result, in this storyline, T3:Rise of the Machines never happened.

I started out last season "giving it a try", and was greatly impressed. It's a hard-hitting show with great effects and excellent writing.
Lots of twists involving the time-travel scene.

The characters are effective; Summer Glau as the Terminator (Terminatrix?) is very good at "trying" to be more human.

The terminator as urinal was pretty cool.... Shirley Manson also sang a pretty nasty version of the old folk classic Samson and Delilah over the opening segment.

I watched 20-30 minutes of the first episode when it came out but I couldn't even get through the whole episode. There were too many bad actors trying to act like terminators and there was no action. The terminator movies are known for their action and in my opinion, the TV show is an abomination to the movies.

TV shows don't have nearly the budget for big stunts and effects that your typical film does, but over the first season they had plenty of impressive stuff.

Sarah, Cameron, and Shirley are all stone foxes :D

I don't care for it at all.
It follows the all too familiar path that many "action" shows follow these days....the women kick butt and the guys are kinda stupid and weak.
