In July 4th it's my b-day. And my mom accepeted tu offer me a big spyderco. But the problem is that, i can't make up my mind and choose.
I hesitate between the police and the military. It's a nightmare i can't choose!
As this knife will certainly last for a while, i have to decide, but damn it's so hard!

It probably boils-down to which you like best; liner-locks (Military), or back-locks (Police).

I've seen the military, and I'd like to have it.
You wouldn't go wrong with either of them.

Well that's fine, I think i'm gonna take the Military. But i remarked that there were two models: one with the classic enscription on the blade, and another with just the word "MILITARY" written on it
what's the difference?

The model that you saw with just MILITARY on it is the newer version. This is the model that I have, and I think that it's much more appealing than all of the other fancy lettering that's on the older model. ;)

Just my .02 cents.:D

Personally I think both knives are good and strong. I just like the lines of the police better. If I wanted a liner lock along the lines and size of the Military I would check out a BM AFCK.

Well you didn't list it but I would put my vote in for the Gunting. I just ordered mine...now I have to learn how to use the damn thing...

Actually I do have the Police myself though so I'm gonna be partial to that. The G10 version is very well made and I got mine for only $37...

I can't speak for the Military because I don't own one (yet). However my fully serrated Police is the sharpest knife I've ever handled bar none. It came out of the box that way. I don't think surgical tools even come that sharp. It is also much easier to carry that one would think, being such a large knife. I sometimes forget it's there and have to check. It is the stainless model and is extremely thin. It's a keeper.

Cheers.
