The lock on this and most of my folders is an original design of mine that I have been refining since before I became a maker. It functions utilizing a split section of the blade tang (top section) which becomes the lock spring. If you look closely at the photos, you'll see a slot showing just ahead of the bolster. That's the split tang. The rear-most tab of the spring has a hole through it. Upon rotation open, the spring section is flexed sideways up and over a pin in the inside edge of the handle, where the pin falls into the hole to provide capture, as well as seating the back edge of the springbar against the spine. I am currently releasing two knives with this lock from CRKT 2009, named "Scharrd". It has proven to be super-strong, since all forces are either in column or in shear, with insufficient leverage to force breakage. I hope this is as clear to you as it is to me. ha.
