A Picture of Terry's new M43 is on the Sarki Shop webpage for anyone who wants to see it.

Yvsa,
I'm sorry I haven't been down. I've been running around like a chicken with its head cut off. I'll come down as soon as I can.
I picked up a new village sirupati at the gun show yesterday and a few pics from a military khukuri collector. He has a few very rare and unusual khukuris. One of them I have never seen or heard of.
I'll be by soon. With the M43.

I've been delinquent.:( I just now looked at Terry's M43. I do like the looks of this one a lot better than the Durba one that Uncle Bill posted when they first came in. The cho is a lot further forward than on the model, but at least this blade has a point.

I'm still willing to wait a while before I decide to get an M43. I still like the looks of the model better.

Original design models are followed very closely. I suspect when the kamis saw Terry's M43 model they all said, "Oh yes, the M43. I know how to make it just right." And that's what we're seeing.

Well, I finally got around to useing the M43 today. I used it to skin out a red squirrel, one of two . Hunting squirrels with a handful of peanuts and a hammer can be difficult due to climbing trees with a hammer in one hand and peanuts in the other.
Back to the skinning. I choked up on the blade and it worked perfect. If it will work on small game it should work on large game.

So tomorrow I'm headin to the zoo to try an elephant or a rhino!
I'll let you know how it turns out.
Just kiddin!!
