If any of you guys need reconstruction of or replacements for damaged or old khukuri sheaths. Terry is the man to go to! I just got back a khukuri that I sent in for a replacement sheath and it's OUTSTANDING! I couldn't be happier and I HIGHLY recommend Terry's work. (Sorry for ranting, I'm real happy!)Sorry no pictures, I don't have a digital camera.:)

Ditto that!

Hoghead had 2 sheaths reworked and they are absolutely beautiful. Terry does excellent work and at a fair price and fast, too.:D

Good, yes. But not always fast. If he has a couple of hams laying around you can forget about fast.

Mad Mike:

I am going to be mailing off a khuk to Terry sometime this week and whatever he can do will be much appreciated. I really need a left handed rig and can't even visualize how one would make a wood-lined scabbard.

I suppose I should just wait and see what one of his scabbards is like, but just out of curiosity, what is your frank opinion of his scabbards compared to the ones which come with HI khuks? Are they about the same (which is certainly good enough) or does Terry make some improvements?

Currently I have four HI scabbards, and while they are all good I could definately rate them one through four. Therefore, it is probably hard to comment but I was just wondering if any particular feature jumped out at you.

Cliff,
Take a look at my website. There are a few pics of different types of sheaths there. I'll be adding new pics soon.
God Bless.

Terry, what can you do for a torn movie model sheath? Mines stabbed through. I slid a peice of plastic sheet under the hide against the tear and ductaped it. When I have the bread, it's coming to you.

Munk,
I would have to take the sheath apart repair the wood and epoxy it back together. Then epoxy coat the spine of the sheath on the inside, to keep it from poking through again.
Give me a e-mail when you decide to ship.
Uncle,
No ham right now just rodeo hot dogs.
God Bless.

Terry:

I've been to the site and studied those sheaths quite a bit. Have noseprints all over my junk monitor from studyin', but the closeups linked by Bruise helped. Now I'm getting the idea.

yeah bruise, that is the one I am going to ask Terry to make for my AK, once I can part with it. So hard to live without it while he makes the sheath. ;) Looks great though, and makes a nice slim pack rig.

Cliff... I'm very pleased with the work that Terry's done for me. I'm sure he can make that left handed sheath you want with no problem. I can only speak for myself...and I'm very satisfied.
Mike
