Hey everyone, This is my first knife review so please go easy on me and excuse the crappy cell phone pictures! I recently bought a Bob Terzuola century starfighter and noticed that there isn’t much out there about this knife. So I thought that I would do a review of the knife so any potential buyers can learn a bit about the knife. This knife was a very limited run for TNK, I’m not exactly sure how many he made for them but I think it was around 30 knives (15 carbon fiber and 15 gray). Let’s get on with the review!
Blade:
Length- 4”
The blade shape on this knife if a very useful blade shape with a good amount of belly and a strong and sharp tip. The over all look is very tactical looking, and by this I mean that it would serve very well in a Self-defense situation. I would never really carry a knife for this purpose alone, but some people do so I figure it would be worth it to mention. The blade does have a fuller, which adds strength to the blade, as well as reduces the weight. The blade steel used on this knife is CPM-154, which is a very good EDC steel. It has very good edge holding properties as well as being very rust resistant. I have found that this steel is not very hard to sharpen and will hold a very good edge for a good amount of time. I will also say that this knife is a very aggressive cutter and will bite into what ever you are cutting very well.

Handle:
Length- 4 7/8”
The handle is made of Carbon Fiber with a Semi Waffle Unidirectional texturing. The ergonomics of this handle is amazing, it is comfortable in virtually every grip. The texturing on this knife coupled with the ergonomics give the knife a no-slip grip. I poured water on the handle as well as my hands and found that it was not slippery. So sweat on a long days work will not hurt the knife. It is also very comfortable with gloves on. The knife also allows you to put a lanyard i

Lock:
This knife uses a liner lock, and Mr. Terzuola knows how to do a liner lock right. This knife locks up like a vault with no play what so ever. He only used one liner which is on the locking side, I’m not sure whether this takes away a lot of strength but I trust it. The handle has a cutout to access the liner easily and with the jimping on the edge it is very easy to unlock. Due to only having one liner the weight was brought down to 4.6 ounces.

Opening:
The knife opens like a custom knife should. The smallest flick will bring the blade flying out. It opens very smooth and with a nice 'Click' to let you know its ready to rock. The knife have a pretty good detent as far as liner locks go. I found that it is not easily shaken out of the handle.
Overall:
Over all I think that this knife is a bit big for most peoples EDC needs, however I work at a nursery and delivering pine straw so I don’t worry much about blade length, and while on campus I rely on my SAK so I regularly carry bigger knives. However if you pulled this out in an office environment you might be thrown out. It is a lot of knife packed into a reasonably light package. The knife also carries very well. The pocket clip has good retention and will no slip out, I haven't had a problem with snagging. It does not ride very low but this allows you to easily draw it from your pocket. It is not the cheapest knife it is 750.00 new I picked this one up for 500 on the exchange. However I do not think you can get this any longer and I'm not sure if Bob is taking orders for these.I would recommend Bob Terzuola to any one who wants a no nonsense workhorse. Here is the knife next to some other knives that you may recognize.
