Can you folks give me some feedback on any of Bob's work? Where would you rank his craftsmanship in the overall scheme of custom makers? I'm considering the purchase of a new EDC, and was thinking about the Wee-Tee as a possibility, but wanted some 'Terzoula-specific' information before taking the plunge.

See my thread in the Custom forum for more information:

Some folk are probably also looking for info and just pop in to see whats whats, I had replied to the other post you list here as others might have seen your link and went there to post?

Gary, thanks. I did see your reply, and appreciate your input. The other responses all mention different makers, so they are not replies to this post for Terzuola specific information.

I've handled his ATCF, and it is considered one of the finest tactical folders available. I've been at knife shows where Terzuola's table is cleaned out within the first opening hour or two.

The ATCF is widely used by LEOs and the military.

Someday, hopefully I'll own one.

I honestly have no idea.
HOWEVER, the reason I am posting is because I have seen his designs,
and they are top notch.
Just look at the Spyderco and Benchmade to see what I'm talking about.

Rovert, I have an ATCF and this folder is in the same league with any other custom folder I have, such as Emerson and Lightfoot to name a few. You can not go wrong with one of Bob's knives. - Dick

I too have an ATCF and also own knives made by Lightfoot,Emerson,Carson, Elishwitz,Strider and the list goes on. His stuff is as good as it gets, carried mine to work today. I prefer the bolstered model but that is personal preference as some don't like the extra weight but it does not bother me the a bit.

I have an ATCF with CF handles/Ti bolsters and it is one of the finest tactical folders on the market, bar none. Bob's folders seem to fit in your hand "just right", kind of like a 1911. I would highly recommend one of his folders, although the Wee Tee is too small for my taste.

I have handled quite a few Terzuola folders now, and I've got to say, they are incredibly smooth and well built. My favorite is the one Les Halpern has in his pocket right now. It's not the Wee Tee but is another smaller model with blue Mammoth Ivory scales and a gold thumbstud. I reeeeeaaaally want one!:D

I have had my ATCF in my pocket since the Nov.'99 NY Custom Knife show. I've been waiting as next month will be 2 years and I will right a review under the review section.
I can tell you one thing if you're gonna actually carry it and use it-buy it! I use mine everyday at work in the course of my job at a large NY newspaper cutting paper rolls, plastic straps, boxes, food, you name it, it's cut it. Edge holding is phenomenal. I usually run mine over the fine rods of my sharpmaker a few times every 2 months or so. This is what Bob sharpens them on so the angle is correct. I have never had to use anything but the fine rods to bring it back to hair shaving sharp. After 2 years the handle and bolsters are fairly scratched up but the blade looks new with just a quick wipe down. Lock up is solid. If I had one criticism of this knife, and is more of an opinion, I wish the bolsters and liners were BB instead of anodized so I could use fine steel wool to take out the scratches, with anodizing the whole knife needs to be reanodized. But this is just a personal preference. I own approximately 29 other handmade knives right now. Everytime I get a new folder and think it looks good and maybe I'll replace the ATCF, I pull it out and look at it and realize I still love it. Let me stress this-if you're gonna use it-buy it! If you're not gonna use it, buy whatever catches your eye.

Thanks to all. I finally decided on a WeeTee, purchased from Les Robertson, but will also consider other examples of Bob's work, so that I have a bit of variety for every occasion and circumstance.

CPR, :D! Actually, I'm probably inclined toward a PPK for my particular environment here, but I get the point.;)

I have one of his custom fixed blade combat knives...I don't remember the model number it's been so long since I got it (about 1986 I think). I ordered it directly from Mr. Terzuola and I feel it is one great knife! I have never had the stomach to actually cut anything with it...so it sits in the original inside the aist band kydex sheath that came with it. Fit and finish are top notch...design is awesome....

I can only imagine that his skills have improved in the last 15 years since I bought it.

Now that I think of it I have cut something with it before....my fingers whenever I test the edge....15 years old...never sharpened and still a razor...
