I just wanted to show off Tess's new EDC. She came to me with this design on her own and said here's what I want for small game & general work. When I started with it and we were picking out materials I'd forgotten how much she loves purple so this one is kind of on "purple overload".

The 3" blade is etched 1084 with the forge marks left on the flats. The pin, spacer & guard are all nickle-silver. The handle is purple stabilized Maple Burl wood with a throat of Chaorite. The whole knife is 7" long and very slender.

Love that blade shape! In fact, there's only one thing I would change; I would prefer a tad more handle, with the butt dropping to about the same width as the guard.

Tess is a little thing, that handle is made for her hand if I know J. :D

See now I am really jealous. His wife even designs the damn things!

I look around here so much now, and look at so much top notch work from you guys, and I sit on my arse and wait till I can get things finished and some time to do something.

J, that is one more sharp piece....no pun intended...and Tess does some fabulous sheath work....

Really nice J. When I read the description, I wondered why you didn't use purple heart. Then I looked at the picture.....stunning.

Yep, I took the imprint of her hand right off the side of my head. :D

Thanks guys. It's a bit purple for me but, I like the design itself. The handle would definately have to be a bit bigger for me though.

Really well done, from design to execution. Congrats to the team.
regards,
Greg

As usual you folks are the dynamic duo. Great design and sheath Tess. J great job on the knife! I like the purple. I like the temper line on the blade too.
Keep up the great work!

Great looking knife. I was trying to keep this from the wife but she saw it over my shoulder. :D

If there was more time (and Cash) between now and Christmas I’d have to talk to you about a twin. Maybe for Blade? The wife collects purple knives. She has quite a collection of them and this would fit right in.

Oh on a side note the wife's best friend won your knufe at Blade last year. That is a nice looking blade too.

Thanks guys.

Pyrguy- Just let me know. That's cool about the Blade show knife, I was really hoping to meet the persone who won that damascus spike. I hope they like it.

She does as wel as her husband, six oldest boys and the two older girls. The last girl is almost two and the youngest boy is about two months old now. You probibly would remember them from blade if the dad let them look more. He thinks that you can see everything needed in about three hours. Although he's learning to give it more time. That many boys, from 17 to 7, takes a little time for them all to see something.

Very nice lady’s knife. I wonder if my wife would like a new knife for Christmas instead of diamonds.
