Test drive with my first khukris

Finally got to test this beautiful M43 18" 35 ounce by sher. Thank you Yangdu for such a beatiful piece of art. I figures I would start out small.

time to get to work

just wanted to see how it handled I was really impressed. On to something a little bigger.

Man at times the M43 just seemed angry at the tree I could feel it work best when using good technique. I started to notice the sweet spot and look forward to zeroing it in. Thanks again Yangdu.

Nice photos. The M-43 is one of my favorite HI blades. I don't have one with a horn handle (yet).

Baddlegg, do you use that spiky-blade-thing to weaken the tree before you dispatch it with the khukuri (kind of like the picadores in a bullfight)?
