This is a anvil I've been wanting to get for close to a year now and I finally got it Sunday. Its a Nimba Titian and weighs 120 pounds. I was over at Wayne Goddards Monday with my new toy and he said it looked like a little pig, its now called Porkey. I got Porkey set up this morning and did three blades with it before my arm gave out. For a 120 pound anvil it ain't no toy. I'm sure this will be my last anvil, at least for now.

Bruce, Ya I told her this morning. She didn't even say you already have 2 anvils, what do you need a third one for? If things keep going the way they are now it will be pay for itself in no time. I guess I'm an anvil junky......

Congrats, Ray! My opinion of the Nimba's will always be good, because I have the 260# Centurion. IMHO, the Nimba is the finest anvil made. I say that, because they are all made by hand and each one is dressed by Russel Jacqua, owner and desginer of Nimba Anvils. A finer gentleman, you'll never deal with. They are costly, but once you use one you'll wonder how you ever got along without it. Best anvil on the market today. Ray, your forged blades are fabulous now, let alone what you'll accomplish with a Nimba under yoru hammer!

I got to spank some steel on my buddy's Nimba Titan. Real nice anvil.

Raymond already has a big enough head. Wait until Porky starts pumping show winners we wont be able to live with the guy.

Bruce, I think the magic is already in Porky, I just need to find it. All kidding aside I do believe this is the best anvil for a bladesmith to have. The extra width at 5" on Porky is a big plus and the flat horn will find alot of uses. I've been blessed with two other great anvils but they may end up watching for awhile......

You know I spent the better part of an hour looking for a bar of 1060 thats probably close to 16' long and I haven't been able to find it. Anyone see it?
