Angelfire doesn't seem to like Ken's pictures. This is what he originally posted.

Ya' know, I saw the "Test: Learning how to post picture" and started to keep on moving . . . until I saw it was Ken Onion that was posting the picture.

Thanks John , I wasn't trying for a shameless plug ,I just had a friend here imp and he was showing me how so I won't have to ask Spark for help in the future .

Hi folks,
Ken thanks for posting the picture.
As far as shamless plugs. There is a big difference between posting a picture of a latest creation or aquisition and attempting to market in a public informational forum.

This does not even come close to crossing that line. (as if some of these guys actually need to do so).

I have hopes that more people will post pics and links of pics to their work here without feeling that they are "hyping" there stuff and catching grief for it.

In my mind it get to be a shameless plug when you see the same picture with umpteen links and sales pitches in the posts.

I really like to see custom makers post pictures of their work. I've only rarely seen anyone cross the line into hucksterism, and I think it's mostly just the forgivable result of enthusiasm for one's own blades.

Great looking knife. Can you tell us more about it. What inspired the design, does it have a lock, or anything else about the knife. This is why I come to BladeForums is to see great looking knives and to learn more about them.

WOW!!! NICE WORK!!!If your computer skills where 1/4 of your knife making abilities, that poor thing would be smokin'!! Don't let it kick your a**, its just a machine (with a mind of its own!) Mike & Audra

Well since you asked , I made this knife for Steven Segal. The blade is Mike Norris 3bar stainless damascus with a 440-v core .the bolsters are Mike Norris damascus stainless Ladder that I engraved in flames arround the bolsters kinda like a picture frame with flames licking twords the center . I mirror polished the flames and acid etched the centers of the bolsters so it would look like the bolsters were on fire. Handle is Pearl Backstrap is titanium with engraved flames inside and out anodized in gold and feathered dark to light blue. It opens via a flicker which disapears into the bolster when opened and Speed safe. You may see this knife im more detail in the near future on the big screen. Oh almost forgot the blade is just under 5 inches.

yea...its pretty nice...but can it pass the cliff test?????? or the tyler test?? also..you have used up your two picture posts for the month (I am including the one you coerced the moderator to put up) and better not stick any more here or you will get ralphed on!
