As you can see, your link syntax for #2 worked. However, PhotoBucket has started adding URL tags to the directly-copyable IMG field, which makes images in posts "clickable."

To make it simpler, you can place your direct image address inside IMG tags, like this (I've added "No Parse" tags so you can see the link):

[IMG]http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p301/Gusho_photos/Porche.jpg[/IMG]

Resulting in:

Porche.jpg

(Same image, but stray or even intentional clicks no longer take you out of Bladeforums and onto your Photobucket album page.)

Hope this helps.

I have been complaining regularly to Photobucket since they added the link backs. I hope others are doing the same.

Yes!

The problem being, every time they "fix" something they seem compelled to alter other features to make 'em worse.

The nearly-constant changes since the relatively recent larger Redesign reveal how poorly thought-through it was from the get-go.

What was wrong with the old format? I ask.

Argh.

In photobucket go to:

User Settings => Albums

Turn off "Link back to albums"

Back to just plain img tags.

Many thanks!
Photobucket customer support fail. You'd think they would have gotten back to me.
