in the first place?? (she's a girl fish!) it's my secret weapon. btw... I ask you for a re-post of your famous 'Mother's day at Olive Garden" story from last year I'd lost, but lo and behold I found it! Allow me the honors when the appointed season arrives for a re-post... with kudos and accolades of course.

regards, mitch

Is that how it works? I thought maybe you just wanted us to think it weighed 30 lbs :D

Damn... your right. I guess mother's day aint that far off. I'm gonna have to take up drinking in the mean time. If she asks to go to olive garden I'm gonna fake being sick too. We went there again for some unknown reason when my dad retired, and ended up sitting next to a loudmouthed moron again (his wife was fat too and I'm not talkin organic tool rest either!). I don't know why my parents like to go there, maybe its like going to the county fair and being around the carnies for an afternoon, its a big ego boost. Personally I view morons and angry cows like leppers. There doesn't seem to be a cure and everyone they come in contact with ends up suffering.
Yep....thanks for bringing that up again. I'm in a great mood to start another week of classes now ;)

Jeez I didn't even see the freakin fish, all that was on my screen was a river and a mountain. Dang Mitch, when do you get time out of the gym to work on knives? :D

on this old planet. Yep, that's the San Juan, I think we were fishing up at the top of flats there. I've been going up there for years and just love the area including Aztec, Salmon and there'bouts. One fall, dad and I were driving along the river and there's all those apple orchards along the way, we bought some "Arkansas Black" apples. They were the best I ever had.

I like it here, too.

I don't fish the San Juan much, especially the quality waters. I think of it as the brothel of trout streams-those fish have been caught so many times they barely wiggle any more. There are other good streams in northern NM and southern CO for catching wild fish.
