Scales turned out unbelievable. I've never seen the wood grain on top of the curl. I feel like I need 3D glasses to look at it.

I never expected this to turn into a discussion. LOL. Carry on...

The knife is even better in person. It is stabilized and dyed curly Maple, fyi. I love when the maple takes the dye the way this one has, showing off the transition between growth rings. Pretty stuff.

Love that knife, someone needs to grab the Mamushi still sitting there...

Pics never show in full resolution via Tapatalk when I'm on the phone, but this looks great on the tablet.

If that Mamushi sticks around long enough, I may snag it for Lisa. She needs to add an Osprey to her rotation, and that one is gorgeous.

I've been in the field a lot more than usual and for longer hours recently... I'm writing for five different publications these days, so I have apparently missed something. Why was the test thread necessary? What happened?

Andy was showing me this morning about posting pictures, I had a problem with my pictures I uploaded on my sales thread either being to large or small. The wood is Dyed Flamed Maple and it is very gorgeous. I really like flamed maple. Thank you eveyone for all of the compliments. I wasnt expecting it and Andy told me to out the thread.

APACHE!!

Cool name for a knife and I especially dig the look of this particular model/pattern when it sports a swedge.

Thank you! I agree I like the name I chose it for several reasons. First after the Army attack Helicopter, 2nd after the tribe due to the Native American leaf shape blade I chose for this profile.

It is pretty sweet in a swedge! Even sweeter with a sharpened one!
