"The BUCK KNIFE 103 SKINNER VINTAGE STAG ANTLER from the 1960's is a rare and collectible piece"
"comes with its original sheath and box and papers"
"The knife is so rare after contacting buck knives the told me they only made a few of these"
"Knife is 100% original.!!!!!"

Test your Buck savvy. Date the blade, box, and sheath.
Is the stag factory or aftermarket?

I am going to say that the blade is from 1981-1985 based upon the fact that it has three lines with no date code but doesn't seem to have had a spacer under the guard. I believe the sheath is original to the knife and from the same time period. I would guess the box is from 2000-2001 based upon the design. It could be 2002 because the 2002 boxes looked the same, but I believe they had the 100 years logo on them also.

As far as the ad, the sheath is not in excellent condition as claimed on the eBay ad since the belt loop was poorly repaired. Buck Knives may have actually told the seller that only a few of these knives were made since it is an aftermarket conversion and the person doing the conversion may have only converted a few of those knives. There is no way anyone at Buck would take credit for that. The conversion is not bad, but it is not good either. I have never seen an actual Buck made stag handle that was that thick. Also Buck's Buckhorn knives had a micarta spacer above the pommel. There is no way the seller is going to get $350 for that knife.

I saw that ad awhile back.
I don't bet $350 even if they're pouring complimentary beverages.
