Oh...Please tell us what sort of knives you like JAS10. This thread needs knife content Bad. If it does not develop any in the next 24 hours, I will be compelled to move this thread to the community forum where you will be at the mercey of the vampiric gerbil. Welll,,,lessee here.........

The first blade of any type I try is usually just a 'test'...I tell the Mrs. If subject blade fails my test it gets thrown in the blade box with others of its ilk. If on the otherhand it passes the 'test' I will usually carry it while I go about collecting a few more of its type as backups against loss or possible future gifts. By the time I have several of these 'successful' blades I generally have seen another blade to 'test'. Should this next 'test' blade prove acceptable, my previous 'test' blade gets tossed in formentioned blade box with others of its ilk. Kinda a vicious 'test' circle ending with decent sized hidden box of 'test blades'...some having passed and others failed. Its a tough world out there with many blades to 'test'...my advice, get a big box and a wife that pays little attention to such things.
