It's hard to find decent fatwood in these parts. Most of the white pine around is no good. I found this old stump on my grandparents place, and figured I'd *chop it up and see how it was. It was actually decent. It wasn't really a big stump, but oh well.
ETA: *By "chop it up", I mean "cut it off at ground level with a chainsaw.

Here's a bit I chopped up to test.
Test burn. It does decent.
Here you can see the resin bubbling to the surface as it burns.
