Hi

If you're testing new ideas for a Chinook IV, please consider if there is any advantage to making Chinook IV's edge profile narrower than on Chinook III?

Hey, if you'd like a thinner edge on your Chinook, you can reprofile it with a stone and patience. If you own a sharpening jig like a Lansky or DMT Aligner, just stick it on the lowest setting and work away. If you want to go even thinner, consider a regrind.

Serrations, not too sure about that, but you can get VEFF serrations added too. Weight can be reduced if you know a machinist who will skeletonise for you. Wave...not too sure about that. I saw a BM 710 on the Exchange with a metal bit attached. Just a few suggestions if you can't wait for another Chinook.
