We had a nice day yesterday. Only -5 degrees so I decided to go out for a hike to test out my new knife design.
It's a big chopper with a 9.5 inch blade .27inch thick in SK85 steel ang G10 handles.
I have been making knives for many years now and I'm thinking about selling a limited run of this design.
Looking forward to test the prototype further and to hear your comments.

If there is enough interest here I will get the proper membership upgrade and sell dome here.

Thanks

SK5 is roughly a 1080 kind of deal isn't it? I like the look of that, seems very practical

Good looking knife! Congrats on your new endeavor if you decide to go that route.

I'm too old be out there in that kind of cold anymore.

Good to see you around again. Haven't seen you since the old S!K days.

Good luck on this endeavor. I'm very interested if you bring these to production.

I tried to bring all the features I liked in a single knife. This design has been many years in the making and this is the third iteration of the knife.
I’m extremely happy with it and I think others might also like it.

That is a nice chopper. I can see that this is a well tweaked chopping blade made out of experience over time.

This thing just chops like a BEAST!!

Congrats on the design, it works just flawless at what it is supposed to do!

I find it’s a pretty good tool for wood processing!
