Testing sharpness of chisel grind

How do you test the sharpness of the chisel grind? I can get the psark so it will cut tin paper strips, but I cant get it hair popping sharp or where it just feels sharp.

The chisel grind can be deceptive. I once used my daily carry CQC6 to open a box of KNIFEGNUGEN t-shirts. I swear that I only put 1mm of the blade through the package tape, and used extremely light pressure. Despite this, the blade went through both sides of the top t-shirt.
