I noticed the SFO website has the FRN UKPK up as the very last item on the New Products page, no pictures, no specs, only info is "testing", and priced at $5000. It's been up there for about a week.

Does anyone have an idea as to when it will be genuinely available? I'm assuming very, very soon, and i'm really looking forward to it.

I was actually wondering if the project died? Was also wondering about the $5000 price tag....

The FRN models were in the 2010 catalogue and then we heard nothing further. I know there are a few out there. I saw a maroon one on youtube that some lucky guy got in a goody bag at a knife show.

Wouldn't mind seeing the FRN UK pen knife. They were also very well priced at like $60. Unfortunately, the UK market that they were mainly aimed at appears to very non knife friendly.

I am going to London at the end of the week for a holiday. Will see if I can find a Spyderco to bring back, but not going to hold my breath.

The "instructions" will go to print and I am told we'll begin shipping around the end of the month.

Sorry for the delays. We decided that we needed some instruction on the safest way to hold the model. You know; "write-proof-rewrite-illustrations-layout for printing-printing-packing into boxes"

Thanks for the update Sal, It's good to hear that things are on track with it. It looks like an excellent model at a great price, and i'll be buying more than one.

Thank you for informing Sal, I've been waiting FRN UKPK for while I love my UKPK so I want to test FRN version of it.

You'll love it - it's worth the wait.
what wait :D lol

thanks again Sal!

Definitely getting one of these. Really cheap, great materials and made in the US. Been wanting to try one out, though the price was kind of a turn for what it is to me. Can't wait.
