I am holding a piece of Titanium that I ran across
for liner locks. The question is what type is it.
It is not marked. Is there any way to test to see if it
is CP, 6-4, or 6242. Is there a file, sand, drill or
other test to see if it will be suitable? Paul

bend it and see if it springs back to straight. If it stays bent it is commercially pure. Now you know everything I do about TI.

Dang, Bruce I tied it in a knot and now I can't get it
untied.:D I can bend it to about 45 deg and it comes back almost straight. Thanks, Paul
