I had a leftover piece of 3/32" x 2" stock from TPVT`s Chuckwagon, so decided to use it. This was going to be one of the Marketplace Monday knives, but The Boss saw it, and confiscated it for her own use in the kitchen.

Here are the specs:

Overall length: 9 3/4"
Cutting edge: 4 1/2"
Blade thickness: 3/32"
Blade heigth: 2"
Handle material: Zebrawood
Price: $150.00

I designed with a forward palm swell for choking up on the handle, and added a thumb cutout to the top of the blade.

After she uses it for a couple of weeks, I`ll see if she will give us a report. Your thoughts on this one?

I like it, i wonder how it handles when it's not chocked up, though, if your hand is to far away for controlled slicing...i want one :)

that's an idea, honestly it chocked up looks very comfy to me, looks about perfect for how I peel (strangely considering my Toby EDC I'm not a paring knife guy int he kitchen) :)

If I knew that in advance I would move the palm swell back further.

Great idea. I can see many places where that would work well.

That looks really, really, good. Very interested in what "the boss" has to say about it.

That's a neat design. I'd be interested to see how the grip feels after some prolonged use with that little hump up front.

Looks like a great chopper regardless!

I like it & would love to have one,but with the job uncertainty I'll have to wait to order one.

We both used it this weekend. For small hands the palm swell is perfect, for larger hands like mine, it needs to move back a bit.

I love that blade shape, I think that this and a "big brother" knife with a touch more belly around , would be an awesome duo. I do a pinch grip on my knives so i like almost straight handles with more handle close to the blade, but I'd pay for it.
