It's pretty simple actually:

Click on the Edit button (bottom right of each post)
Once the edit page opens Click on the check box at the top left where it says Delete.
Then click on the Delete button at top right (the instructions are at the top of the edit page).
If you are the originator of the thread (ie first post) you will delete the entire thread when/if you delete the first post.

Dang Chuck I thought I was gonna oust you guys! But nope, I don't have enough clout to do it even though I originated the thread. Sorry for wasting all this bandwidth. Shoulda just let it die.

Well apparently basic members don't have the clout - I tried to delete min and no go. Oh well may be Kit will get rid of it.

Think only moderators can delete threads on here, though I won't swear to it. Since lots of business dealings not involving Spark go on on this site(ie, the whole exchange section), it helps cover bladeforums to have records of any of the dealings that "involved" them by being discussed on their site.

Or such is my guess. Could also just be that someone decided to turn it off.
