An order for a gentleman from Texas, that wanted the State Star on a rear bolster :)
It's a smaller version of a knife I've made in the past, so it's easier to carry around.

7" AISI 5160 steel blade, handrubbed - 11 1/2" Overall length. Full flat tang. Fileworked spine.
Bolsters and pommel in texturized nickel silver with a Texas Star on the back and a natural blue spinel presetted in gold in the front.
Handle slabs in ebony, with oval details for owners' initials in sterling silver. Thicker in the middle for better grip.
Hand made criollo style decorated leather sheath with flower detail in sterling silver.
This is the traditional sheath style real gauchos used (and still use nowadays) to carry their knives.

I do like it, and any Texan, or anybody body else in fact would be proud to carry that beauty. Excellent work.
