Hello all,

I ran across a brand I hadn’t heard of today. By my limited research it appears they were made by Canal Street. Since Canal Street is no longer around I am guessing I am seeing old stock or someone else is now making them. They look pretty nice to me. I found one video saying they have 1095 steel and some other information stating it’s D2. Does anyone know anything about these?

Much appreciated.

It looks like they may of had some models made by either Queen or Canal Street. The knife pictured from there website though is not from either of the aforementioned companies. I would say it is more likely a Bear and Son pattern, possibly even Utica.

If it’s Bear and Son’s I will likely steer clear. I went ahead and asked the vendor who is actually making them at this point. If I get an answer back I will let y’all know.

Lack of pins in the handle points to Bear!!

That pricing would have been tolerable for Queennir Canal Street, but not for Bear. I have heard tell that B&S has improved the quality on some of their models. Anyone know if that is true with their traditionals?
