ALSO BROUGHT ALONG MY 7 SHOT .357 MAGNUM AS I SAW A RATTLESNAKE LAST TIME I WAS THERE--AND DID NOT WANT TO FEEL THAT POWERLESS EVER AGAIN
I NOT ONLY SAW IT--I HAD IT RATTLE AT ME WHILE I WAS CHOPPING ON A TREE IT WAS 6 FEET AWAY FROM

I DO NOT LIKE SNAKES--AND NOW I LIKE THEM EVEN LESS

THE KNIVES???

THE SIEGLE SAR 7 AND SIEGLE NESSMUK ARE SWEET

THE SAR 7 WILL OUTLAST WW4--AND EVEN THOUGH IS 5/16" THICK--CUTS GREAT AND FEELS GREAT--JUST A BAD A$$ KNIFE

THE NESSMUK HAS A TAPERED TANG IS JUST SOOOO SWEET IN HAND

THE GRAVELLE SMALL IS A LITTLE TANK OF A KNIFE-BUT MY WIFE CAROL LIKES THE MEDIUM ONE BETTER SO I'M SELLING THE SMALL GRAVELLE

You have a Great Eye Sir!!!

That puppy is actually Zeus's daughter

My patinet told me his Female Cur/Catahula was FIXED

Well she was NOT--and Zeus Knocked her up

How do I know??

The mother (Lady) had 5 puppies and Carol(my wife) fell in love with one

We have it now

Out of the four, I definitely prefer the look of the top two knives, I think they're very nice.

I don't want to knock you because I like you mate, you heal and help people, but why go willingly into snake country and then want to kill them?

Why not buy a top of the range pair of anti-snake boots, a snake stick, and then an ultra short shotgun....

Because the man that owns the land asked me to kill every Rattlesnake I see before they kill more of his livestock

Did you watch the slideshow??

What beautiful country. His 100 acres look like it's in the middle of nothing but land. I am so envious of you, I would love to go there!!!

Awesome land there, looks like a fun area to hike and chop. Great blades too

Great looking Siegle's there.

I ate my first fried rattlesnake not far from Abilene. It's delicious. Kinda like small baby-backs... really small. :D

Great pics... thanks.

Thanks for the pictures Doc. Looks like a fun day. Cur dogs are cool too Doc.

Hey Doc, Looks to me like ole Zeus did a good job. They will be some good dogs for sure. Like the pup that Carol picked out too. You can tell what he is just by looking at him . I like the top knife myself.
Thanks for sharing.

So your patient keeps goats? If so that's great, does he make cheeses and meat?
If the goats are getting killed regularly by snake bite, then why not feed it to your dogs? because I wonder if it might eventually help them build up resistance to a bite....

No, in all honesty I never did look at all your pictures but I have done now and very nice they are too!

One incredible thing about the USA is the different environments you have there.
There's nothing in my country that has views like yours in Texas.

Looking across those views it must lift your heart, especially if you're having to give a lot at work.

P.S.
Great dogs:thumbup: and one is especially beautiful!

I'm partial to the nessy in the collection. Good looking pup....now on to house training :D :D :D

EDIT - stupid Canadian comment - isn't a 357 a bit overkill for a rattlesnake????

Thanks for the Kind words

I have lived in several States-and this area is very Barren compared to Tennessee

It might no look like it in the photos--but it is not Wilderness.

More like Scrub Brush

HOWEVER----It is very nice to have access to 100 acres where I can shoot-hike-hunt-and Knife test to my hearts content--and I do so as often as I can

Here is my dog--a 4 year old German Shepherd named Zeus--he is on a RAW food Diet but not goats(Mostly chicken hearts and Drumsticks, with Beef, and eggs too)

I hope I never have to find out--But Ted has Wild Hogs as well as Coyote on his land

If they go after Zeus or me---I will take the appropriate action

Again--Hope I never have to use it

I do not hunt Rattlesnakes---but they attack people/pets here at times--and better to be ready or as close to it as possible

Awesome pics man, and good looking pups. I am wanting to pick up one of Josiah's smaller knives, I like the looks of his work.

Love that part of the country. Thanks for sharing the pictures. good looking puppies too!

Do you ever see or hear any quail?
