I have one of the Case 6292 pattern Jacks as posted if this thread by longbeachguy http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=422529 (longbeachguy, those are my favorite case pattern  ). Oh my question! What is the pattern number for the larger size of the same style knife? Does anyone have a comparison shot of the two?

Can't seam to find any info or no one has one for sale when I go to knife shows.

Thanks, and nice to hear from a fellow fan of the 6292 pattern!

My understanding is that Case did make a two blade jack in the 75 pattern, which is 4 1/4" compared to the 4" 92 pattern. However, these are supposedly relatively scarce and I don't know what years they were made. The much more common 75 pattern configurations are the three blade jumbo stockman and the two blade moose.

I'd love to see a comparison picture too, in anyone has one.

here is a comparison of the Texas jack patterns I have-the larger 2 being the 6292, and the smaller being a newer small Texas jack AB0077:

As Longbeachguy said, there was a jack pattern on the 75 frame with clip and pen blades hinged at the same end.....however it was only made during the pre-WWII era and even for an older knife it is quite rare. The 6292 is the largest jack of that style or pattern made after WWII.

The 75 pattern is and has been available as the 6275SP which is the two blade moose pattern, and the large 3 blade 6375.

Thanks for the info guys. I'm going to have to hunt one of them down so I can have a matched set!

jivedaddy, beautiful picture and thanks! I have the middle one and enjoy carring it the most.
