I have not read the bill, however, if Ted Nugent supports it, I am against it.

Ha! I'm not a Ted fan myself. It basically is loosening the regulation on personal ownership and carry of knives, stun guns, and pepper spray.

What a terrible attitude, regardless of what Ted believes or not. If you can believe it, people can disagree on some things, and agree on other things

I don't know or care if Ted Nugent supports the bill. I support it and every knife owning/using person should as well. Without this type of law, we could end up with a patchwork of restrictions even worse than what they have in NE - since we have way more square miles and towns than all the NE states put together;

As I understand it, what the bill will do, if passed, is pre-empt any city from passing regulations dealing with knives, stun guns or personal defense sprays. They will still be able to establish restricted areas.. court rooms, etc.

the following is the meat of the bill::

(b) Notwithstanding any other law, a municipality may not adopt or enforce an ordinance or other regulation relating to the private ownership, keeping, carrying, transportation, licensing, or registration of an electric stun gun, a knife, or a personal defense spray.
