Hello, all. I’m new to the forum, and to knife making. I intend to build a forge, eventually, but I’ve done a lot of stock removal. I work in a weld shop, and I’ve made blades out of a lot of things, just for fun. I want to actually start making good blades. First, I could use some practice with making handles and assembling knives. I’d like to get a hold of some quality blanks. I’ve heard that Texas Knifemakers Supply sells better quality than I can get from folks like SMKW. Can anyone give me any insight or suggestions?
