Texas laws pertainning to knives ?

Hello all,

I have been trying to find an on line resourse for knife laws in Texas. Can anyone help me with this. I went to findlaw.com, but I was not able to find the legel leignth for a knife in texas. A peace officer here in Texas thinks it is just four inches, but I saw a document a few years back that stated a blade can be no more than 5 1/2 inches. Does someone know a creditable source on the web ?

The blade length limit is indeed 5.5 inches in Texas, right out of my current issue of the Penal Code.
