Okay, I wasn't smart enough to post the image (just when I thought I had all that figured out), but thankfully Brennan got the image up for me!

This is a textured damascus fighter that I sold at the ABS Reno show last January. Due to an email problem, I just got the pic (NOT .7's fault).

Eric at Point 7 did an awesome job... this is one of the best prints I have.

Thanks for looking :)

That's cool, Nick! I was reading your post on dies the other day and saw the one made from welding splatter. Is that what you use for that texture?

LOL Bruce!

Nice texture, Nick. I gotta try that some time.

Thanks guys :)

Steve, yep, that's the die I used on this. It's 320 layer random pattern damascus, so when you press the texture in, then grind the bevels smooth, you get a ripple effect in the blade. It doesn't really show in the pic here (but you can see it in the print).

I forgot to mention it has wood-grain bolsters, exhibition grade Ironwood from Chuck Bybee, and the tang was etched all the way around as well.

Thanks again :)

Hell, I get a nice ripple effect in my blades, everytime I try to grind one! :D

I love the style of that knife. Add one of those to my "Want" list, Nick. :)
