Whats everyone think of this one? I just picked it up today and I'm thinking of bringing it back. The Zytel just feels cheaper than usual here. I love the gold finish on the blade though, the knife is definitely gorgeous, besides the serrations.
A few questions, how is the paracord cutter? Also what size driver is this pivot screw? I have some bad blade play and don't have anything in my box to tighten it. Thanks in advance everyone. Hope my first SOG stays as a keeper.

not sure what model mine is and it's too late for me to get up and look now, but i believe it takes a torx 6 and/or 5/64. i noticed on my flash II first gen, and my trident there is blade play, but nothing seems to fix it. so i wouldn't really hard use these with the blade in the back of my mind.

p.s. be careful when taking it dissembling it, take half the handle off and let the blade rest on the other handle or the spring will pop out, and it's not quite as fun winding it back into the notches and getting everything back in place >.<

I have been adjusting these pivots for many years.

Simple thing............tighten pivot until blade opens VERY slowly, so slow it almost does not open.

Get a VERY light machine oil and put a drop or two in pivot area then use.

This knife will most likely have 0 play and will open as fast as needed after a few minutes of use.

I did this years ago with all my pivots and to this day 0 play and still opens fast.
