It seems all their swords are convexed, but the convex is VERY subtle, it almost looks zero bevel.

I experimented a little with my ginunting, and it seems to work best with sandpaper and a semi-rigid backing, so something a little stiffer than the soft part of a mouse pad. I've heard of people using rolled up magazines with a 1000 grit wrapped around it to do touch ups.
